While competing at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Saturday's 300-mile race for the Nationwide Series and Sunday's Coca-Cola 600, Patrick said she would like to drive in the Indianapolis 500 and the 600 on the same day as early as next year.

Dario Franchitti held off Japanese competitor Takuma Sato on Sunday to claim his third Indianapolis 500 victory after Sato attempted to make a last minute.
